Congratulations to the coaches

I'm pretty critical of our coaching staff but I think they all deserve our gratitude today. I can't even imagine what it takes to recruit a class of ~20 high schools kids against other coaching staffs that are basically working just as hard to sign them/sign them away, not to mention that many other fan bases pack an extra social media punch that we generally lack at NU (when what's his name flipped to Michigan the other day, it was favorited/retweeted over 3,000 times). Sure it's part of the job, but the hustle, humility, and sheer tenacity it must take it beyond me. As a fan, I'm grateful to anyone who puts in this much work to recruit.

Yes indeed. Kudos to the coaches. We tend to focus on the ones who got away (jilted lover syndrome?), but I'm really excited about the guys who signed with NU today. Many of these guys had offers from high-profile programs, and they decided to stick with the 'Cats. Glad they did so, and thanks to the coaches for working so hard to help make it happen.
