Penn State will celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates across the commonwealth during its spring 2025 commencement ceremonies, the majority of which will be held Friday, May 9, through Sunday, May 11.

Over 14k. Why don’t they just drop diplomas from planes over Philly and Pittsburgh? For f*ck’s sake.
By the time I was done with my two degrees I didn’t have and extra $40. My "free" diplomas are in a drawer anyway, so they have no real use.

My two kids got two BS degrees each in order to stick it to the man . Then onto more degrees than a thermometer . /s
However , $40 a pop can be a struggle depending on your situation . That is the main reason why it would be nice if there was no fee for your diploma .

My daughter graduated this weekend. This is one proud Momma (and Dad who is an alum too). Commencement was so well done ( the only negative was it was a cluster eff getting out of the BJC lot— football traffic moves faster). I cried when my daughter walked out. It just hits different when they graduate from your Alma Mater.
