That our "lawyer" of an AD that Bo tried telling his entire team of young men nobody could possibly like, has landed one of college football's nice guys in Riley and got his old friend -- you know, one of the most celebrated ball coaches in CFB, some guy from South Carolina -- coming to tour Memorial for a game.

Maybe the bad relationship here was a Bo problem?

When the time comes for NU to hire another football coach, I hope he is the one to do it.

There is so much positive vibe at Nebraska right now, if you care to look.

I don't think Eichorst is a bad guy, but it's pretty clear he was hired to get rid of Bo, and therefore did not interact much with Bo and his team. I don't think I'd feel comfortable having a new boss come in and avoid me for the most part. By all accounts, Eichorst was very similar at Miami, many people there had no clue who he was or called him "The Invisible A.D". It sounds like he is taking steps to change this, however, like being on the sidelines during the games.

And I'm not sure how you can argue there is a positive vibe. There was before the season, but being down 42-16 to Purdue was one of the low points in the history of the program. I'd say the vibe is very uneasy right now.

3-6 is enough to kill any good vibes.
