My Dad took me to see him play against Shumate & then they both wound up at Notre Dame.

I think his Dad went on to be the Police Chief in New Brunswick.

Captain Brokaw. Here's an article about the 1967 riots in New Brunswick. Reads similar to the riots across the U.S. last summer. Hell of a place to attend high school in the early-mid '70s.https://www.mycentraljersey.com/sto...alling-1967-new-brunswick-protests/428509001/

Middlesex County was great back then.....Brokaw at New Brunswick, Brian Taylor and Chad Kinch at Perth Amboy, Dave Wohl at East Brunswick, John Somogyi at St. Peter's and Drew Pearson and Joey Theismann at South River.
The county tournament was special.
