Auxier Ridge is what got me into the outdoors. When I was at UK a buddy invited me to go and I just remember sitting on one of the vantage points, smoking a joint without a care in the world.Big South Fork is a little out of range but some nice hiking. Auxier Ridge loop at the Gorge is hard to beat.
Well you answered your own question as Cumberland Falls and The Pinnacles are the two best in central KY IMO.Any recommendations?
I haven't been to Cumberland Falls or Yahoo Falls in McCreary in many years, so I think I'll hit them both up this summer. I'll definitely hike the Pinnacles in Berea at least a couple of times.

I ended up backpacking a good deal of the trails in the Gorge before moving out to Colorado. Always enjoyed staying the night on top of CloudSplitter and watching the sunset and sunrise.
