Could Acaden Lewis be teaming up with Rick Pitino?

He must not be worried about competition with Ian Jackson, he's rumored to be going there. I think St Johns returns 3 guards, if Jackson were to sign with them it could get crowded for Lewis if he's considering them.

I think this could all be about cashing in rather than playing time. Unless he goes to a mid major, he is going to have competition for playing time.

I have nothing at all against Acaden but if he winds up at a program where he gets less playing time than he would have gotten here I will honestly laugh.
And IF that happens it will be a bad look for UK even if it's not deserved. But sometimes we do things out of spite. He may have left here because what he saw unfolding didn't match with what he was presented, but he may not care much about his situation elsewhere.

I wish Lewis the best. I was hoping he would've had a change of heart and stayed committed.

Honestly, I'm fine with it. Much better than him going to Duke, Kansas, UNC or SEC schools. Even though we'd be playing him next year.

Acaden is very good player. We don’t what were the discussion between Kentucky coaching staff and Acaden and his camp.

Everyone is talking how big of war chest St Johns has. This could be a possible discussion but who knows where he will land,

Read where Lewis is probably our #1 target in the portal with Perry leaving. Talked about how savy of a player he is with a nice pull up shot. And that he would be in the rotation if he comes back to us. It actually said that UK is probably in the lead. What are our chances?
I hope this is serious. Odd but I’ll take it.

This has to be a joke. We have no minutes for him.

I wouldn’t want him. Unless you are John Wall or Rajon Rondo, you ain’t demanding to start as a freshman in this program. We’re trying to win titles, not protect feelings.

Was that the issue? He wanted to start

An article with FanSide whatever that is. Reading other places they say probably between GA and St Johns. The article mentioned us losing Ament to TN and insinuated we would like to have a strong freshman class with him, Johnson and Moreno. Could just be speculation on the writers part, thought someone may have heard something about that.

After seeing him play, I think he could have given Lowe some serious competition.
Kid is going to be a really good PG.
He has that Tony Delk/Rondo freakish wingspan for a guard and elite court vision.
I may be wrong but I think he will be better than Acuff in five years.

I'd happily take him right back, now with reset expectations.

I really like him and think he is good enough to get to a time split with Jaland as a freshman and overtake him over the post freshman summer.

It takes a whole lot more than what has happened for my pride to eff with me.

Is he even considering a return? Hard to believe

You're saying that now because we've since added guys. Where were you then? Uh-huh.
No I’m not. Absolutely no one gives a second thought that it’s a “bad look”. Players come and go. Recruits decommit and go elsewhere. It literally happens all over college sports to every team.

I thought he would be really good and we only have two true guards on the roster at PG. he obviously either wanted a guarantee or something because his dad claims he was pushed out basically, I don’t believe that. I think he got a big offer to leave. I’m shocked he has not committed somewhere yet,
