we beat in the final game? Very similar with the Euro bigs inside but I think that Utah team was better esp. with Andre Miller.

That Utah team had a better Coach as well as much better talent. That Utah team would sweep this pansy *** Gonzaga team 4-0 in a 7 game series.

No. That Utah team was similiar to Wisconsin. Gonzaga is really really soft. Physical play would kill them. A team like U of L or UVA...imagine what KAT and the Hartisons would do yo them. Not to mention WCS

This Gonzaga team is the equivalent to a 5 seed. They are huge fraud and once again everybody will see it in the tournament and 3 years from now when they have another decent team that rips through the WCC we are going to go through this again.
I partially blame Arizona, they should have buried Gonzaga when they had them at home, instead, they allowed the game to go to OT so now everyone thinks the zags are some great team when in fact they are a very un-athletic, below the rim team that can make some outside shots.
I'm tired of hearing the excuse "well they tried to schedule tough teams but how were they to know that SMU and UCLA were going to be down". Come on, schedule some true blue bloods, when you know you play in the WCC you better at least try to schedule better than that.

Byron Wesley is actually their most legit player imo. He is better than what Gonzaga usually works with. If Gonzaga does anything in the NCAA it'll be because of him.

UTAH would beat them down.

That Utah team was Legit. This Gonzaga team isn't. Miller and KVH > anyone on Gonzaga.

I think we got a little lucky in that one - to get to OT. We had more guys and they got tired - we won. Well I can see it different ways, but really believe that our depth - gave us an advantage.

That poor coach, was it 3 years in a row? I felt sorry for him, first one ever and since.

Van Horn wasn't on that Utah team, he was drafted in 1997.

Think you might be remembering the Stanford game in the semifinal...we did not go to OT with Utah in the championship game (although we did rally from 13 down).
