I am jealous of anyone who will be there. I have never been to one, maybe I can man up and make it happen. I am all about raising hell for Duke.

The last two have been nothing short of incredible, and NOW? The new banner? OMG.

Will be there again this year. Only missed one since they started doing the craziness instead of blue white.

OAD , this is not a fake offer, if you could find someone to care for your wife that day, I've got your ticket and meals my friend.

You're a heck of a guy, Show, and I appreciate the offer deeply. But my wife doesn't cope well when I'm not around. My daughters help me, but as much as my wife loves them...her stroke has left her with a 'need' for me to be around. And don't anyone feel sorry for me (or my wife) because we both still feel we're very blessed. We've had a great life, and hopefully some more years to come.
But again, Show, thank you very much for the generous offer. It's great people like you, and some others, that I started posting here. DI is much more than Duke basketball to me...it's an outlet, and people like you are the reason it is.
Take care buddy, I'll expect a full report when you get back.:D

Amen to that dirt. I've only met 3 of this board in person but I really feel i have gained so many good friends because of it that I've never actually met bit I feel so close to. It's a different kind of bond. It would be great if we could all meet in one huge setting. It is great therapy for me to get lost in discussing my love for Duke and my distaste for UNC a group that understands me. I can really go after the THR boys without too much fear from one of them looking me up and whipping my butt. I am no where near as bold when talking in person to Tar Heel fans as a whole probably because a lot of them are close friends. Anyway it's a good place to vent and have fun. My wife has accused me of being addicted to the board and I guess she is correct becaus all you need to do is look t my post count and wonder "is this all skysdad does?" One more thing that I'm happy about is my son who is really Sky post here. I believe we are the only father son posters which makes us the leaders in father/son total post. Sort of like Bobby/Barry Bonds total combined home runs. :D OFC

Does anybody know which prospects will be in attendance? I believe I read that Gabriel is coming to town, but not 100%. Anybody heard of anyone else?

At some point in the next few years, I really need to make it back to Durham for this.

I hate to break the news to you, Sky, but you're carrying Sky Jr. He's going to need some more 'at bats' to keep up with his famous papa. You're going to have to crack the whip on him doing spring training.:D:D:D

OAD, God bless your wife, and daughters for helping you, but most of all God Bless you for your strength and courage. You truly are blessed and I also hope you have many more years to come.
I would give anything to be able to get your entire family to CTC, but I also know sometimes things cannot be helped.
I won't be there either, but my thoughts will be with you and your family on that night, as much as CTC.
Again, take care of yourself and your family, and God Bless!

It's really confusing because he's Sky and I'm Skys dad but he is Sky dad's son or son of skysdad. Yeah he needs to step it up to have any chance of having a career like his dad. I do think he has some quality post though. Mine sometimes seem to fly around like a fly in a tornado. OFC

Thank you Sky, Show, JCC, and others for the kind words. I'm sure all of you would do the same.
Now I'm going to move on outta here so you guys can get back to discussing CtC.

Is there any word on the coach's clinic? I and the staff I am on will go to one of the two.

They haven't had the Coaches Clinic the past 2 years. It was a great event! I would love for them to have it again. I'm just wondering now if it's an event they are fading out.

Clinic was cancelled due to ridiculous NCAA regulations & heard it may return this year. Last two seasons the program held an open practice to public on Saturday morning when football team was home. Bet they do this to get people in new football stadium.

I may be in this year, kids are dying to go.

Tickets aren't cheaper but you can purchase early at the IDs entry level of $100 for CTC and the student break games

Once again, I will not be making it. I am not the jealous type, but some of you lucky souls are testing me in this regard. Represent us well, as I am sure you will.

Is this Dukiegurl's first post since Singler graduated?
