Crazy winter storm next week

All of the snow is predicted to be SOUTH of Tennessee and Virginia. We will see if it actually happens!!!

-snow in most of Louisiana, as much as 5”, ice as well
- snow (dusting) in Florida panhandle
- much of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia
- North Carolina, including the southern coast (where I live) 5-8” of snow

Bush and Hobby Airports in Houston have already announced they will be closed on Tuesday.

We're expecting 1-2" of Snow and Ice here in San Antonio. That's a fairly rare event for us.

Forecast here between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach has dropped from 6-10" (just 36 hours ago) to 1-3".

Of course they changed it AFTER all of the toilet paper, bottled water, eggs, milk, and bread had been sold out. They just did that to help retail grocery sales. Now normal folks will have to wait for the next truck to arrive to replenish the sold out items.

I read 8-9" tonight and up to 14" in some places in La. They are so screwed. They'll have to shovel with coal shovels.

Got about 3-4" here (halfway between Myrtle Beach & Wilmington). It would have been more if flakes, but was more like granuals. Roads are bad. Very little to no equipment to clear them.
