Thank goodness it is a red out - empty seats might blend in.
The crowd was not great. Another indictment of Satt. Sadly, many of the long time season tickets holders around me decided to not renew tickets. These are people that have sat near us since the stadium opened. Really sad.
Crowd was horrific tonight. After we didn’t get the 4th down with almost 4 minutes left and 3 timeouts, people were heading to the exit. FSU fans were louder when they wanted to be.
The 200 FSU fans were not loud. C’mon. Yes, a few people sprinted to the exits. But in their defense we’ve seen this script before.
I could hear them haha, but idc if we have seen the script before. Game wasn’t even close to being over
There was a whole suite behind us full of FSU fans on the Angel Envy side. Overall Crowd was typical UofL crowd…late arriving, leaving early for halftime etc. Party deck was full. I have to admit, I was checking out the Angels Envy Club frequently. It’s very cool.
There were a lot more than 200 FSU fans there. And they were loud.
Regarding the crowd, last night was also Bourbon & Beyond, Gaslight Festival, Churchill, and high school football. 46K+ isn’t bad considering the team hovers below average.
I was being hyperbolic about 200 FSU fans. There might have been 2000. I guess we just sit in different spots. I never heard their crowd make any impact at all. 46k for a home opener against FSU after a win over UCF seems weak to me regardless of what else is going on. I know many people that just didn’t go because it isn’t that much fun for them anymore.
