Current predictions

where do you think we stand from an honest standpoint? I feel we lose 5 more for sure being two against Carolina, 1 FSU, 1 UVA, 1 ND. We prob lose 1 or two more with games at wake and at Miami. So I'll say 6 loses then lose in the ACC tourney so that's 12 on the season. I say we get a 8/9 seed which would put us playing a team about like Florida which is the best team we've beat and then praying we get the weakest 1 seed with probably a second round loss

Without looking at the schedule, I feel we will get to the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney and lose in similar fashion as last night. The committee will not leave us out because at the end of the day, its all about ratings. Even with all of the talent we have, I just don't think this team has that it. Half of the team has one step in the door and one step out. It takes a Battier or Laettner to over come something like that. Our only hope is that Grayson and Luke get in an unworldly rhythm.

Duke finishes top 5 in the ACC and at least gets to the elite eight. You heard it here first.

We're going to have one of Kentucky's recent seasons. It completely falls apart and we lose to Robert Morris in the NIT or we sneak in as an 8, the light goes on and we make a Final Four run.

I still think we'll win a few games most people right now feel we'll lose. That said, we may also lose one or two, like last night, we should win. I guess I still don't see anything worse than 10-8 in conference....maybe 11-7. It would be pretty remarkable to turn things around and become better than that, IMO.

As for postseason, that's too hard to predict. I still don't think this team has a ceiling, per se, like the Sweet 16. We can definitely do better than that. Will we? As of right now, no. We could be 5-4 a week from today and coming off two road wins. Maybe not the most likely scenario, but I still don't feel as though it's incredibly far-fetched.

Yes, right now we are ugly, not playing together, and very well could miss out on the dance. Remember the 2nd half of Miami game, that's the potential this team has.

People are just being realistic is all. I don't think anyone is being babies, we will all be hoping they turn it around. I also see a 11-7 or 10-8 ACC finish and a 6,7 or 8 seed. Depends on the matchup, I could see them either one done or sweet sixteen. Just don't know with this team right now.

No..you guys just take post to fit the agenda..

K did a terrible job the year with Jabari...it's really not questionable...I stated as much all season and continue to stand by it..worst job I've ever seen him do...that season was also the passing of his brother...he wasn't right...

He did a great job last year but a team should never be in a position we where in with only six guys able to play....nothing to do with coaching...But the cupboard was bare..guys did all they could...

Capel has made many questionable head scratching decisions in game...the two biggest to me is going small against FSU...and the disappearance of Luke Kennard...we where talking of him as a player of the year candidate now he's benched and not getting close to the number of minutes...

And did you know...Bolden was the only big not scored on in pick and roll defense against Miami?? Capel to me is just throwing stuff out there hoping something sticks....

We don't lose last night with K...we don't..

That team was not stellar, but they did lose the only player they couldn't afford to lose. They were thin in the bulk category and lost a top 5 pick in the middle to injury in the middle of the season.

With such high expectations preseason, I just hope we can avoid Wisconsin in the tournament. We may have to look out for West Virginia too.

I think we sweep unc again. We have them at home the 1st time and by the time we go to chapel hill we will be hitting on all cylinders and if it comes down to Coach K and hof coach roy williams calling the shots it's gonna be Duke. OFC

With this team, anything is possible. The 'experts' on tv know that Duke of course right now is not a contender, but unlike last year, or 2014, this team has an unlimited ceiling with talent. If, and I say if, Allen can get back his swag and our D gets a little better, a very deep run could happen. No one would be shocked if that happened, they would only say it happened later than they all expected
