How many have there been like this? Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Every one seems improbable, and it’s always a different way.

Good teams find a way to win. In Michigan's case, they waited until the refs bailed them out.

Refs say Michigan player holds ball with the back of his knee.
Refs say swallow whistles while six players hack at a defenseless quarterback.

Maybe if Nebraska wasn't a three-win team they would get more close calls.

The refs made a profound difference in this game. Probably more than any game I can ever remember other than the 1994 Orange Bowl. The calls and no calls were just aggravating. This is a game I just don't regard as a true loss. Illinois, Michigan St, and Oklahoma were all close, legit losses. This one. No.

Maybe if we weren’t on the *** end of corrupt officiating like this, we would have more than 3 wins.

officiating is **** for us but there are so many things that we do and dont do to make our job that much more difficult. Just sick of the mistakes when it matters most....
