Hopefully he comes back but if he can't he cost himself $70,000,000 by not agreeing to the extension and playing on the franchise tag.

Is that bad?

Articles stating he lost closer to $150 Million. Let's get past the "he makes millions to play a game!" posts.. he likely wishes he took that deal, and Dallas.. while not happy it's star QB is hurt, might be better suited with Dalton going forward, costing far less.. he's slated to make like 1/5th the salary.

Dallas dodged a HUGE bullet today, IMO. They weren't winning the superbowl anyways.

I am sure Dak has an insurance policy.
I am sure Dallas still tags Dak for another year.
If Dallas does not, Dak will still have many options.
He will still sign a very large lucrative contract.

As much as I don't care for Dallas, Dak seems like a great guy and wish him nothing but the best.

I saw the injury once and I don't even want to read about it. I had a trimalleolar fracture several years ago. If that's what his is, it hurts a lot but is some better when they pop it back in alignment. They did mine by grabbing my big toe and yanking the f out of it. A plate, 9 screws, and removal surgery 18 months later, it wasn't that bad. I did have to quit golf though, couldn't rotate on it.

Welp, there goes my Fantasy Football team. Lost Dak yesterday and Saquan Barkley earlier in the season.

I mean, that's why players want to have long-term contracts in case crap like this happens. I despise the Cowboys (only the Steelers are worse), but you hate to see this happen. I wish him a full recovery.

The Dallas Media has been trying to spin this into a "Dak will come back stronger" thing. The reality is that after this type of injury he'll never be the same. He may come back as a straight drop back passer but you won't see much running from him anymore.

Feel bad for the guy seems like a good kid. Even tho the cowboys were struggling he was having a great year.

Course I had him in my fantasy league, so that sucks.

Dak tried to pop it back into place. talk about a tough S.O.B., great kid and was really a punch in the gut seeing that happen to him. He is in great shape, will get the best medical treatment possible, he will bounce back from it. He will be a little bit tentative at first, but he will be fine. Such a great player, even better person, hate it for the kid.
