When others were opting out Joyner said, "My father taught me to finish what I started" and he has learned one of life's lessons which will serve him well in the future. In this day of selfish me first athletes he’s a breath of fresh air.
Something tells me this young man is going to do well after his playing days are over.
True Gamecock……no quit. He has helped us achieve numerous good wins. Remember UGA a few years back. Great athlete who could have gone elsewhere but put the team first. Loves his school.
Glad to have him another year.
Even he admitted he was hurt and got behind this year. He also said when he became healthy he was able to help the team more.I’m surprised, considering how little he was utilized this season. hHope he sees the field more next season.
Just keep him in the game....move him around. If the defense doesn't account for him, he will kill them. He is the Swiss Army knife of the offense.....just don't take him off the field. So proud of him for sticking with this program even though he has probably been underutilized over the years. Hopefully, we can find a role for him next year that allows him to achieve his full potential.
