I'm sure he will carry the ball +15 times against UK. But without suspensions, injuries, or total recruiting misses, he will return to the relative obscurity of the bench or special teams that goes with being a good player on a great team. Hope he enjoys his life. His choice.

So we had a UK fan take a shot at Harris on Twitter and he responds and that is trolling? Please tell me we don't really have UK fans still posting on DH's twitter account. Please tell me we as a fan base are smarter than that.

Note to UK fans that are still taking shots at DH on twitter, please stop. You are embarrassing us all.

He has been bad mouthing our program since last February. This is why our fans heckle him. I don't remember fans heckling Lamar Dawson or Jon Davis when they picked other schools. They picked their schools and disappeared from our minds. Harris keeps running his mouth.

Why keep interacting with him?

He and his family have shown they have ZERO class. You shouldn't be surprised.

that's not really the point. The point is when your in a position like him you're expected to show a little class by not engaging in such conversations.

He's what, 19 years old? In what other walk of life is that kind of standard set upon a teenager?

To me, it's much more embarrassing when presumed adults constantly slam a kid because he doesn't wear their team's colors, whether that color is blue or red.

He wasn't even considering UL.

Sorry.

I agree. That sad part is that people won't leave the kid alone. And even worse people on this board bashing him and his family because he didn't come to UK. I wanted him to come and was as disappointed as any UK fan. But to call him and his family things like "classless" is just petty and shows who is the real classless person.

You must have not seen the things his mother put on twitter, the day OF him signing with Alabama.

like the way the presumed adults in the UL fanbase & UL propaganda media celebrated the NBA draft results for an 18 year old from Haiti who suffered incredible hardship during his youhg life?

get the frak out of here Little Bitty Brother trying to preach that garbage to US

Why does everyone assume this was a 40 year old tweeting to him? Just as easily could've been a 13 year old...an 18 year old...with a twitter handle name like "lil Rob", I don't know why the "adult" talk comes into play just yet.

Seemed playful by both sides - like the article said, point for each and move on.

I specifically said "whether that color is blue or red" to acknowledge that there are idiots in both fan bases, as there are in every single one. Most fan bases are exactly the same, as much as that may pain the crazies.

That you're so offended tells me that you're one of the type of people that I'm talking about.

Suggested action: unfollow.

Social media has given ignorant people a voice that shouldn't be heard. Instead of just letting Harris go.....and instead of Harris dropping things.....we have a never ending drama of "I know you are but what am I?"

Life lesson people, just let it go. If you fire at him, he's gonna fire back....and vice versa. And this is a battle where nobody can win. It's a never ending game of tic-tac-toe that ends in stalemate every time.

Let it go.

Although you would be hard pressed to find anyone thinking UK has any legitimate shot at upsetting the Tide this year, the resulting effect of Harris's tweet is he has just handed a bulletin board gift to Mark Stoops, which he could not have ordered up any better. And you know, every year there are a few crazy "no way that will ever happen" upsets.

That's why you don't get into twitter battles with the public when you are player on a high profile sports team like Bama - it just comes back to fly in your face.

BTW for the record I have been adamant about my opinion that Harris was not deceitful of sinister during his recruiting process. IMO we simply lost a recruit due to the last minute full court press put on by the best in the business. So I do not harbor any dislike for Harris because of his recruitment.

I think the kid misled the coaching staff from my understanding. I don't blame the kid for going to Alabama but I think he did milk it to get perks around UK's campus. With that said I would never tweet or contact a kid that chose to go elsewhere. He is wrong about it taking a lot more than his help though as I believe that class would not have had anywhere near the decommitments had he stayed on board. Talent follows talent in a lot of cases and he could have helped bring in more players we need.

You'd be wrong then. He made his decision after the iron bowl (November), made his announcement in mid January. Wasn't about anything last minute...he played the UK staff (but they make $ to avoid and see through that stuff).

I did not follow his recruitment very closely since UL never had a shot, but what did he do that makes you say that he "played the UK staff"? From an outsiders view, it appeared he was a highly rated hometown kid that considered UK but in the end chose the top program in that nation. But just because he chose Bama doesn't mean he never considered UK or didn't strongly consider going there. It just seems this type instances hurt more, so the kid gets labeled as doing something wrong. But what exactly did he do wrong?

And before anyone accuses me of anything, UL fans did the same thing with Marquis Teague, and it was equally as stupid. Sometimes kids strongly consider your school and end up elsewhere. It happens.

I agree with this. I cannot understand the logic, if he had already made up his mind on Bama why he would be "playing around with UK" it makes no sense at all. What UK "perks" are people talking about that he would be interested in if he had no plans to attend here, or at least considering even though he might be leaning another way?

His adopted new state that he can live happily ever after in. Good for him he doesn't have to ever step foot in our loser state again. Will not effect us in the least.
