A lot of firings this year at solid programs, yet I don't see the pool of named candidates to match. Aranda is one, and assuming he leaves Baylor would likely end up on the West Coast. Maybe Fickle, if he chooses to leave Cincy. But who else? The guys at UTSA, Louisiana, and Coastal Carolina are ideal hires for a TCU or a Texas Tech level job, but for LSU or Florida? That would be a very big jump for those coaches.

Cannot leave out the possibility of hiring away a big fish...

Can you blame him? His best players minus Trask bailed on him.
Regardless, he still didn't have to act like such a smug ***.

He could've just manned up to the fact that he got boat raced. I didn't see Riley bitching when the same thing happened to us when we got obliterated by LSU even though we were missing two-thirds of our starting defense. You learn a lot about a person's character under adverse conditions. We learned that Mullen doesn't have much of it.

Welp, after years of pullin my hair out, I've come to the conclusion that the game has become sillier exponentially and I've still a full head of hair at 54. Naturally, no help from Bosley, truth. I just roll with the punches my man, it's easier on the blood pressure. 😁

I’m thinking it’s more about the players than the coaches except with certain programs. Mullen would probably be a much better coach if he were coaching Georgia or Alabama. But then he would have to keep the pipeline coming. That’s the secret in my opinion.
I'm thinking what has Mullen done as a head coach? Looking more like Will Muschamp, good coordinator, not a head coach.

He had 1 good year with a better than expected Dak Prescott at quarterback, and has parleyed that into MILLIONS.

I always thought he was a good coordinator but sucks at recruiting. Bama, OU, Clemson and Georgia have picked the state dry.
