they had no running game ..like literally none
This might say as much (if not more) about the situation at UCLA than it does about Holmes. Not saying the kid isn't a stud but if they had some depth you bring him off the bench early on, let him get comfortable and once he gets used to the speed of actual games move him into the starting line-up. CB is a very mental position and a few early bumps can get in his head and slow his progress.Would have been a nice addition considering our secondary situation.
A question I have is how did Calabasas lose in the California state playoffs last year with Bookie, Gebbia, Holmes, et al. playing?
Nah he was a wr... They were 5 wide all the timeProbably true, but Bookie was their RB wasn't he? I don't think offense was their problem, I think Gebbia had a record performance, or at least a huge game, in their playoff loss.
And KJJWould have been a nice addition considering our secondary situation.

I can get on board with that, definitely.I have seen Calabasas a few times living out here.. 2 years ago Brian Hightower really stood out.. Last year it was Darnay and Bookie... Gebbia reminded me of Jimmy Clausen.. Had tons of time to throw... Judging by how his work ethic has been documented if he grows into his frame he will be a multiple year starter for us
Is UCLA relevant in 2017?
Do they beat A&M to open 2017 with some relevance again?
