Is coming back for Oregon as well. And despite what others are saying, its gonna be his decision, not his dads. Any kid who visits twice in a month isn't cooling on NU. I think NU lands him with the help of the Calibraska crew. Key Sr is his godfather and he's been to NU more than any school except local USC.

How can these players afford all these trips, I get keyshon's situation, but 98 percent of families can't afford constant round trip tickets across the country.......

Until Key Jr signs on the dotted line, I don't believe its impossible for Key Sr. to be footing some of the bill for the unofficials.

Edit: But I'm not exactly a rules guru so it may be illegal. I just thought it was an option.

You realize that Darnay's father spent 5-6 years in the NFL as well?

As long as Key Sr had a "previously established relationship" he is allowed to pay for visits for some of the other kids

Also, doesn't the university pay for them to come out on their official visits?

Yeah, they do for one official visit, and this year it can include parents. Thing is, those guys have been out here numerous times on unofficial visits, and we're talking the whole crew of them. I wouldn't be shocked in the least of Key Sr. is paying for some of that, but they do go to a fairly well-off school already sooooo...I don't care, as long as they keep coming out here?

I don't know what is being reported on the other site but him not going to NU for the Oregon game is old news. He announced, awhile back, that he intended to visit Michigan that weekend but for whatever reason some people here missed that piece of info. To be honest, for a second when I first read this thread I thought maybe there was some new info from this weekend, that I hadn't heard, in that he changed his mind on the Michigan visit...but my best guess is that the OP was going on long dated info.

Thus, if the worry is simply over him not attending the Oregon game...well I wouldn't read too much into that...before this weekend he didn't intend on coming to it anyway...now if there is more info that leads you to believe he is done with NU...please feel free to share.
