Is it Stoops that's holding the offense back? Many defensive coaches like to play possession football. Anyone think this is the case?
The strange (and concerning) thing is that Stoops doesn't seem to "want" a high-paced spread attack, but he keeps hiring offensive coordinators that specialize in such and then tries to alter their schemes.
That truly seems to be the case. Brother Bob embraced a high octane offense when he took the OK job and I really thought CMS would do the same. The strange (and concerning) thing is that Stoops doesn't seem to "want" a high-paced spread attack, but he keeps hiring offensive coordinators that specialize in such and then tries to alter their schemes.
