Please get your collective asses to EMCC (the first second you are allowed to do so after the dead period) and open a dialogue with Devonta Bolton now that he failed to graduate in December, which was a contingency to Bama honoring his scholly. Surely his *** can graduate by May. Offer him and see if he can get enrolled in first summer.

I'm pretty sure this guy redshirted a year at juco so he would have 3 to play 3 at Bama. That is some cold blooded **** by Saban. Can't make that juco coach happy that he wasted a roster slot on this guy for a year with nothing to show for it.

His scholarship was contingent on him getting out in December. He didn't accomplish what he needed to in the classroom so they had to move on. That's pretty standard.

Bolton was told early and often that he had to graduate this December in order to get the scholly. He apparently half-assed it academically and cost himself the slot. It's pretty well known that Saban will not offer or re-offer a JUCO that is not a December grad, as he expects their *** to go through Spring. And unlike Mullen, he can afford to have this policy. Meanwhile, back in vegas, somebody with authority to bind us to a scholly needs to be gassing up the sled, double-checking the "hotdogs," and punching scooba in the gps.

Plus I saw him play LB for EMCC his freshman year and I was not impressed. However, I'm not a talent evaluator and if bama wanted him he must have some talent. Sign him up and worry about what position later.</p>

He has obviously bulked up significantly. Word is Bama gave orders to bulk him for use as a TE, which they wear the hell out of in McElwain's system. He has 3 to play 3.

I think CD is right in that he would project as a OLB for us most likely.

I sure as hello hope they do . I really think we need LBs and offensive lineman in this class. I heard great things about Skinner this year and Jamar himself told me that Skinner would and could replace him. Although replacing Jamar will be very TOUGH!
