Anyone else think JQ will not risk playing if the team keeps performing in this fashion?

Yeah, I do. But I also think if the team was playing well, he wouldn’t feel the need to play either. I just don’t think he plays period, and haven’t since around BBM. Lots of talk about his return over the summer, very little since then.
Im thinking he doesn't play. Might not wanna risk another injury when he's a projected lottery pick.
If he continues to sit, he probably loses 2-3 draft positions at most… If he plays in this mess, it could cost him 10+…

I’ll be surprised if he plays. I think we were sold a bill of goods on him from the start.
It also hasn’t gone unnoticed, the recent lack of talk from Pope about his “miraculous” progress, that we were hearing so much from him before the season started.

Even if he does play he’s not this savior. Hes not Anthony Davis. Hes a big man coming off acl surgery either way. Not gonna change our season like some think.

He was brought in to give the appearance of a major recruiting win. He was a top end HS talent and then top end portal talent. It's gives a good appearance when you can land those guys.
I think the hope was we would all be gitty about him and the team all off season. Then the team would get to playing and looking good and we would kind of forget about JQ or forgive him not playing because we were already so good and wouldn't want to mess up "chemistry". However, since that ain't happening, him not playing is going to be even more highlighted...ala Sharpe.

These comments are ridiculous. He’s going to play, but of course he’s not a savior like somebody else mentioned. But he can certainly help us inside where we’re very weak other than Marino.
I like JQ's personality and style
But you can always see from team photos
He was always somewhat isolated from other teammates
Seems strange
Personally like him as person, diligent worker, pretty articulate, but it is wise for him to not play this season.. Only chance we see him play is we somewhat make turnaround
