Got to defeat beatable Duke, Illinois and Purdue. Salvage 3-4 wins. Try not to be humiliated by OSU. Possible Minny underestimates us.
Promise the commits plenty of early playing time.
#1...not to overreact but I don't think we should be talking about decommits on the free board.
#2...Illinois, PU, IU, Minny all put up points over the past couple weeks...I just don't see us hanging offensively with anyone in the conference.

My life revolves around two things: White Sox baseball and NU football. These organizations have taken years off my life. I will lose sleep tonight thinking about what my life has become as a sports fan. It ******* sucks.

Wow. My sympathies. As an NU, Indians, Brown and Cavs fan, I feel your pain......
As a Chargers, Padres, and NU fan, I also empathize...it's going to be okay...???
You and me both, man. And a similar problem at the core of both teams: misplaced loyalty.
It's so so so hard to be a fan of either right now.
And a World Series ring, a Rose Bowl, Superbowls... But what have you done for me this millineium.
I'm 59 and my pro teams have won 2 championships in my lifetime. Suck it up.
Now that I think about it, NU has won more championships than my pro teams. Not bad. Give someone a contract extension.
You should count the Ravens.
Personally for me the Bulls are by far the team in least invested in - and they may be 4th fiddle in Chicago too with the recent Hawks run. I'd trade all 6 bulls for 1 cubs or 1 more bears in a heartbeat

I lived and/or worked in the Chicagoland area (NW burbs) for 40 years, and in all that time I knew about a dozen White Sox fans. Everybody seemed to be a Cubs fan or a fan of an out-of-town team.
That's the NW suburbs. I grew up in the west burbs and Wheaton was like a 60/40 split to the Cubs. The farther south you go, the more Sox fans there are.
Grew up a Sox fan on the NW side of the city. It was rough finding comraderie. And now I live in Wrigleyville!
