Forget the talk about this or that offense, the best defense will win the CFP. I think the best defenses by far in the final four are gonna be in the Cotton bowl with Bama and MSU.

That is what Bama thought in the Sugar Bowl. It depends on what kind of offense your defense can stop.
I don't think they have adopted to the hurry up spread kind of O. Sabin will start c thing to change the rules again.

They have adjusted and can beat hurry up spread teams, its those teams that have lost to MSU, such as Oregon and Baylor. Notice you left out MSU. TCU, Baylor and Oregon have not beat the good teams from SEC. Name one victory those teams have over Bama or LSU?

Clemson's D is ranked #7.

As for Bama, I think part of their ranking comes from the fact that they don't play anyone with a dynamic offense. Most SEC offenses are pretty boring; although Ole Miss - with Clemson's former 3rd string QB - is spread and mobile enough that they beat Bama.

I think either Clemson or Oklahoma would beat Bama. Shut down the running game; have enough passing offense and a mobile QB, and you win.

Oh, and ACTUALLY, I think it takes D and Offense to win. At the end of the day, you have to out score your opponent....

They have lost to Ole Miss two years in a row and to OU. Dont know what the others have to do with the price of rice in China
