I'm afraid this is just the tip of the iceberg. Both fans and recruits have been willing to give Stoops the benefit of the doubt and give him time to assemble a team. But we are now in year 4 and the team and coaching is still a mess. There are very few people out there at this point that think Stoops can really get it done. Recruiting is going to take a major hit as a result.
I agree. You can stick a fork in him ,he's done. I hope I'm proven wrong as I'd gladly eat crow.

And it starts... Losing prospects to Directional schools, why that would be as bad as losing games to directional schools
I agree. Prove me wrong Stoops. But I won't waste anymore time supporting you.
There has to be more to this story. A guy just doesn't choose Central Florida over Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and South Carolina (and even UK) if he really has the opportunity to get to those schools. It may be that it turned out that Central Florida was his only option (but I'm just guessing here). I do think it is an overreaction to say that UK's loss is causing a loss of recruits to schools as unattractive as Central Florida.
