Deja Vu all over again

Even though circumstances are entirely different I cannot help but feel a slight correlation between now and '15 going into Wednesday nite. We had just come off a whipping at NC State on Sunday, and Miami dismantled us at home 3 days later...

However, that team was closer and found itself next game at Louisville (remember the zone we played?). Anyway even though its early I still feel its more critical THIS Duke team (with somewhat of a shaky psyche and trying to find itself), win Wednesday nite. I am not sure this group with all its distractions/chemistry issues could right itself sufficiently over course of season with a loss to a dangerous Georgia Tech squad.

I am not putting this out there as any kind of guru (because I am far from it), but just a Duke lover who respects everyone here and would like your thoughts. Best to all for a great New Year! Lets Go Duke!

I'd be more worried if this game were on the road. IMO, Duke will win by double-digits. That won't mean everything is solved. Hardly, in fact. I just think we react positively to being back at home. Plus, we're due to play a decent team....and with our talent, despite maybe a lack of cohesion/chemistry, we're still very dangerous without figuring everything out at this point.

Hart, I'm with DJ, don't think we'll lose this game at home. If it were on the road...I would be worried. Having these next 2 games at home are huge for this team. We have a chance to develop a little cohesiveness and confidence without having to endure a hostile crowd. Baby steps...

Also Georgia Tech coming off a big win against UNC, and Duke stinkin' it up against VT...doesn't bode well for the Jackets imo. And I'm not sold on GT being that good to begin with...they've had success in the past against the Heels. Besides that we know UNC only lost because of the refs, and blown assists.

We may even struggle with GT, but if we lose to them, then color me very surprised, and extremely worried. I think Duke wins, and possibly very comfortably.

Youll win by 30. Ga tech is awful. Its not like they even played well saturday to beat us, we just had every single player play their worst game of the year all at the same time.

Do you think you'll last on DI past our first meeting? FWIW, I like having you around. You at least seem like a reasonable human being.
