No, that would be like going to battle with Gomer Pyle.
Erickson has won 2 National Championships. I think he is the real deal as a Head Coach.

Erickson's team was a cheap shot bunch....and he endorsed that style of play. He's a major reason why I won't ever root for Miami, even if they played Texas, Notre Dame or USC.

I just think Dennis Erickson is the real deal and would have been a great fit for OU. He can recruit and he is very innovative.

I can think of 25-50 really quality HC possibilities at OU. Erickson wouldn't be in the top 100.
