Deriq King announces that he is entering the transfer portal. Is Lincoln going to be a man of his word and not go after a transfer or do you think King is too good to pass up??

I have a feeling that Riley has decided to hand over the reigns to Rattler starting this upcoming season. Riley has already given Rattler an extra year to develop and to acclimate himself to the system by having Hurts transfer in from Alabama for one year.
Plus, Chandler Morris, who will redshirt this year, is on board.
Mordecai, in my opinion, is a "wild card" option.....he could become the starter if Rattler gets hurt or he could beat out Rattler for the starting position, which I don't see happening.

King will go elsewhere. Maybe LSU or Arkansas would be his landing spot? He is not a good fit in this offense. Do not need to distract from Rattler’s progress as the next great Sooner QB.

King graduated from Houston on Dec. 14, meaning he will be eligible to play next season regardless of where he lands.
Rattler is the guy, Schafer is the back up, Mordecai hits the portal, IMO.....
Just never saw Mordecai move the team down the field and he had chances....
Schafer is a natural and in an open competition would be neck and neck with Rattler, Schafer is not a 5 star and came from a small HS....

Mordecai is the backup. There’s Atkinson (a walk on) and Schafer on the roster. Where did you hear Mordecai will transfer or that Schafer will be backing up Rattler ?
