Particular game day clothing, idiosyncrasies, superstitious habits, preferred atmosphere, etc. Maybe your fanhood has created a relationship argument, a noteable / funny story, breaking something valuable due to anger, interfered with your job. Whatever it is, let’s hear about your Duke fanhood. I’ll start with myself.....

• I watch 90% of the games at home, I will refuse to watch it else where if it’s a big game. I have a Duke fold-up chair that I sit in 3 feet in front of the TV. I don’t care if it inconveniences my gf or company, I have to sit there and feel in the game.

• (final 5 minutes or so) If Duke is playing a tight game or in need of a comeback and we hit a big shot, whatever my last action was - I won’t repeat it. So if my last action was looking at my phone, I won’t do it again until the game ends.

• My dog’s name is Kameron, she wears a Doggie Duke shirt on home game days.

• I was in Lexington for my cousin’s wedding. I went to the small hole in the wall sports bar to watch the Duke / UK game. 10 minutes before tip off, the bartender pulled out a stack of shirts to sell that said “I Still Hate Laettner.” She announced that shirts were $7/each and a bunch of people started migrating over to make a purchase. I asked how many shirts she had, she said 30. Pulled out my wallet and asked if I could buy all of them. She started pondering the thought and I said, “$210 is the total cost for all 30 shirts. What if I give you $300 and you keep the $90 as a tip?” — Sold. The whole bar went ballistic.

• I was in high school when Redick was a senior. I got kicked out of my English class because a kid wearing a LSU sweater flaunted it at me and I told him to GFY. Only time I’d ever gotten in trouble in school.

I’ll stop myself there. Let’s hear about y’all

I watch the games normally alone. If my wife or kids are downstairs they aren’t aloud to talk or make noise.

If Duke loses the lead or starts to play bad then I move seats, change shirts, and normally put my Duke hat on. If Duke gets a lead or start playing really well then no one is aloud to move from their current location. My wife stayed upstairs during the 2015!game in Cameron. I stayed in our kitchen watching through our pass through for the second half one year.

My language also tends to get ramped up and I’ve been known to throw a remote or five. @CRAZIE4LIFE can relate to the remotes.

Woah lol I’ll say I’m sorry for calling you a troll

It’s all good man. Sometimes I feel like the passionate / paranoid fan in me has a tendency to worry about what could go wrong instead of just appreciating the wins rolling in. I can see where me bringing those things up immediately upon my joining could raise eyebrows. I probably should have introduced myself to the boards and earned some respect before I talked about anything negative. That’s my own mistake.

I know a chunk of people on here have taken that impression and don’t like me then troll what I post everywhere. So I definitely appreciate your apology. Let’s get this win tonight!!!

I told a friend of mine in law enforcement today that if there’s a call of “shots fired” at my house tonight then just ignore the call. It just means UNC won on a last second shot and I unloaded a magazine into my TV. I need a new TV anyways.

Haha!! I went outside after the 2015 title game shooting my shotgun in the air and yelling!!
Scared my neighbors mom to death!!

He and I hunt and golf a lot together.
He told her it's just be idiot Duke fan celebrating!!

I'm not superstitious. I don't wear any particular shirt, or have a special chair, or anything like that.
I'm pretty reserved now in my later years...except I occasionally may utter a word or two that would be a language violation on DI.:D
Now in my younger years, the wife and kids didn't even stay in the same room with me, 'cause to say I was 'intense' would be mild. But that said, I never had any bad to say about Duke...the only thing I expect is EFFORT...'cause these guys are just young kids doing their best.
