During the Kentucky/Michigan State game, Vitale was talking about the struggling AAC...including TU's loss to Jacksonville State.

If you were speaking about Digger Phelps or somebody like that I could understand? But I always felt Dickie treated us pretty well.
The AAC has struggled to win games that perceptionally they should win. TU should not lose to Jacksonville St, UCONN should not be losing to Wagner and Northeastern, and Temple shouldn't be losing to New Hampshire. What Vitale said is not untrue is it?
Vitale gets on my every last nerve but he was one of only a handful of AP voters that has given us votes the last couple of years.
He gets on my nerves too but when I was coaching in college, my HC had brought Vitale in to talk to players at one of his summer camps. He said he was well received by all the campers. He was so passionate about the game and encouraged everyone to respect the game, their coaches and themselves.
Coach told me he worked harder than anyone he ever had come in--from early in the morning till late at night. He said he really cared about the kids and he became best friends with him.
However, I can do without the Diaper Dandies, PTP'ers, Dipsy do, Dunk a roos and Wilson Sandwiches. Lol!
The fact that he is even talking about Tulsa tells you that our conference is relevant I don't mind him speaking his mind because as of now the AAC is much weaker than last year.

If he didn't think TU was a good program and the AAC was a good conference, he wouldn't have even mentioned it.
