Did anybody mention Skelly?

His defense left a bit to be desired in places. But for someone who hasn't had a ton of consistent floor time, the kid was rock solid from the free-throw line down the stretch.

Love his game. For the most part plays within himself and is a great passer. Glad to have him around for another 2 seasons.

I'm a Skelly fan as well. Always brings energy when in the game. His growth is coming in decision-making.

There is no question the offense looks better when he is on the floor. He can't be ignored by the defense inside or out and that makes everyone else's job out there much easier.

Someone tweeted yesterday that his lone 3-pointer was probably worth 6 or 7 points over the course of a game because teams have to respect it. He did get beat a few times on the baseline, and he needs to get better at defensive rebounding, but the guy is well on his way to earning 20-25 minutes every game.

I liked the way he kept his hands up and deflected 3 or 4 passes in the lane. Just a smart, athletic player.
