Did anyone notice the buzzer @ end of game?

I noticed in real time it went off with about .5 seconds left, just a little premature. Went back on DVR and confirmed my suspicions. It made no difference as the ball was rolling around and Gonzaga was not going to get a shot anyway, but I noticed it and have never seen it before. Anyone else notice?

I did. Also they messed up adjusting the clock. Took it to 1:02 instead of 1:05.

The buzzer did go off before the clock ran out. The lights above the backboard also lighted up and I stopped it on my replay of the tape and clearly see the clock with .3 on it, but the buzzer has sounded and the lights are clearly on. as if the clock - and game - were over.

strange ending to a incredible game. the last tenths of a second and they still had to blow the play dead. So I think they just decided, it was over.

and it was

great win !

Yeah the end game was odd. I think they put 1:02 on the clock because they were counting from when the clock stopped after the bucket. But doesn't the clock stop until inbounds in the final 2 minutes? Dykes was confused too, "I guess they count faster than I do."

Yep, texted my buddy right after it happened. With all the other bad and no calls not in our favor, I'll absolutely take ref incompetency to assist us from time to time.

I noticed that too. I went back and hour or so after the game and asked my wife if she could hear it and she just shrugged her shoulders and said not really.

I was wondering if the sound was just slightly ahead but someone else in this thread said the lights around the backboard lit up.

I’m still stunned that POS official didn’t call Carr for a foul.

That was the quickest 5 seconds of my life. Once Carr missed the second free throw, the ball got tipped around and it took a couple of seconds off the clock. Then, Carr batted it away from the Gonzaga player and the game ended with a scramble for the loose ball. I was all set for Gonzaga to end it with a three, but was delighted they couldn’t get a shot off. Great comeback win!

I’m not sure if Zags still had a time out but if they did he should have called a time out. Regroup and inbound the ball mid court.

I thought it seemed early, but by the time i looked at the clock it was 0:00 so thought it was just me.

Not worthy of it's own thread so I'll mention it here. But I could of swore the Gonzaga player traveled a second before he got stripped.
that happened a lot. I noticed a double and a couple of walks. one was near the end of reg IIRC. and it was at the top of the key. No way his back toe didn't move. That would've been a big call, but it all worked out.
