Final: Colts 12, Broncos 9, OT

A perfect game to relegate to PRIME. VIDEO. o_O . All field goals. Matt Ryan was bad. Russel Wilson was worse.

In overtime, the Colts got the ball first and settled for yet another field goal to take a 12-9 lead. On the ensuing possession, the Broncos start a nice drive and end up with 4th and 1 inside the Colts’ 10 yard line. On 4th and 1, instead of a run or QB sneak, Wilson fires the ball into the end zone. Incomplete. Colts win.

A lot of bad football in Denver last night.

Yes it was a horrendous display of offensive football. Matt Ryan should’ve retired and so far Wilson was a horrible trade. The fact that over half the stadium left before overtime is a sign they agree

Good point about fans leaving before overtime. Spoke volumes.

I admit I turned the game off. Those teams were unwatchable. What has happened to those 2 qbs ... Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson. Wilson especially he looks like a shell of his former self. Not sure if it's scheme or talent or coaching or all 3 but for what he is being paid and what he is producing... He should be riding the pine...

KJ was so wide open when he did his cut. Wilson was too focused on primary receiver.

Glad Colts won, even if super super ugly.

Russell Wilson hasn't been the same since the 'Let Russ cook' proclamations came out in Seattle. If he starts cooking, the smoke alarms start blaring. It's 9-6, late 4th quarter, Broncos in the red zone. They have a FG wrapped up to make it 12-6 and there's no way the Colts are getting a touchdown. So you run the ball to make sure you get in position to get those points at the 2-minute warning. Instead, a pass is called and Wilson throws the same pick that he threw on the goal line at the Super Bowl against the Pats. A horrendous play call by an overmatched head coach and horrible execution by the $250 million QB.

give Kirk H some credit! Al Michaels tried to defend watching the game even though play was so bad. kirk said " no" as play was so bad. Wilson a very high paid veteran played at level of a true freshman. Both interceptions were horrible but no excuse for second-should have ran the ball, even if just go to line of scrimmage (to wind down clock) so they could have kicked field goal which would give them a 6 point lead-instead Wilson threw horrible interception -ironically to CB who intercepted his last second horrible SB pass to lose game for Seahawks- and Colts got good field position and tied game. Then instead of getting first down or throwing to a wide open Kj he threw to a very tightly covered unopen receiver and lost game. HORRIBLE QB play on both sides. See if Wilson can come back from this-he has been poor all season and team has not used KJ well-can not target 1 receive (Jeudy) and have a winning team.

The Broncos gave Wilson a hell of a contract. The guaranteed portion is….$ 165 million. So far this season he looks like .02 . That said….for the vast majority of his career RW was the guy to have and won lots of games and was a treat to watch. Still time to turn it around this season….but….there was an alarming lack of velocity on several throws last evening and that my friends is most concerning.

Yeah was watching it at the Legion in Lititz. Game was so bad, we left in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Stephon Gilmore had the pick last nite. Malcolm Butler had the infamous pick in the SB.

Anybody got a theory on these concussion protocol head injuries becoming a weekly thing?

Hines, the primary backup to an already injured Taylor, goes down 3 plays into the game off a routine shoulder tackle to the back. He gets up with baby horse legs and is probably out next week as well.

I understand that concussions and potential CTE is a high priority, but why are these players getting up with their shît string knocked loose more regularly than I remember?

I want to thank the Broncos for providing some cover for another totally underachieving team that is so far staying under the radar with their disgraceful suck-@ss-ness.

It's only a matter of time before it blows up and becomes a national embarrassment. But high profile displays of ineptitude like this keep it on the back burner for another week.

Guess I'm crazy, but I found the game pretty entertaining (probably helped that I started it very late and watched it in about 95 minutes fast forwarding through the breaks). Both defenses played very well (obviously some function of the struggling offensive line play on each side), and I usually prefer a defensive slugfest than a game where neither team can stop each other.

That’s like watching the BIG in 60 on the Big 10 Network. So much better than watching the actual game. Well, usually. At least for the Northwestern game, it was.

Yea…I can do it faster when watching on TV, but streaming on Prime slows me down.
