I think the staff likes Middleton, Pringle, Dubose, Bell, Middleton in multiple fronts more than Elam...who just simply can't explode and do a thing on the interior. I would imagine he'll revert to back up mode and for sure comes off field on pass downs...So he's going the way of many high rated Stoops kids (McWilson, Dorian Baker, Nick Richardson, Courtney Love, Snodgrass, etc..) not making a dent at college level play.

He's the best we have at that position and I've never heard his name called making a tackle. Maybe it's time to let him watch from the bench for a while, give somebody a chance that has heart and wants to play like Jordan Jones
