Since we got to play host to a large number of recruits yesterday, do you think the game had any negative impact?

As a defensive player recruit, I want a program with a defensive trademark.
OU does not have this and hasn't for a long time.

Watching the continuing defensive trend, some might feel it hurts their chances to go to the next level.

If I am a Recruit, my 18 year-old-mentality will believe I can ride in on a white horse, in shining armor, and Save-The-Sooners!!! Where do I sign?

But then my coach, my dad, my mentor, all older/wiser, point out that this OU D is a disaster...a dead-end-street with no light at the end of the tunnel and no yellow-brick-road to the NFL...Thanks, but NO THANKS!

If I'm a defensive recruit I would not go play in the ridiculous scheme that is going to keep me from showing my skill with a coach that's going to scream and yell while blaming it all on me and my teammates.

Ugh just thinking about Mike acting like that makes me sick. What a piece of work. And by "work", I mean the smelly brown stuff that comes out your backside. Everyone, but especially those young men on D, deserve better than that arrogant prick.
