Bet that kicker would like to do a Byron Bennett and disappear for quite awhile. Laces in the wrong spot or not, that will eat that guy for years to come. Not that the Vikings were going to the super bowl, but that will be a dark cloud over his head for a looooong time.
Walsh had sucked all year at short distant xps and field goals so no surprise. If Locke wasn't such a ***** he could've taken his gloves off for a couple minutes and spun the ball like normal.
Walsh would have been MVP for the game with his 3 prior FGs and kick-offs (no returns) - then he ganked a 27 yard FG....and yes he has missed a bunch of XPs so maybe we should not be surprised. Pressure got to him - you know Gostkowski drills the gall darn thing.
Question...people are mentioning how Jeff Locke didn't spin the laces out...likely due to the cold weather.

Yes, I recall Walsh's other kicks were laces in also.
Was curious if the Seahawks gave up on spinning the ball.
