Bet that kicker would like to do a Byron Bennett and disappear for quite awhile. Laces in the wrong spot or not, that will eat that guy for years to come. Not that the Vikings were going to the super bowl, but that will be a dark cloud over his head for a looooong time.

Walsh would have been MVP for the game with his 3 prior FGs and kick-offs (no returns) - then he ganked a 27 yard FG....and yes he has missed a bunch of XPs so maybe we should not be surprised. Pressure got to him - you know Gostkowski drills the gall darn thing.

Question...people are mentioning how Jeff Locke didn't spin the laces out...likely due to the cold weather.
So, did the Seahawks holder spin the laces out for Hauschka?

i thought they showed a replay of one of his 40yd+ fg's and showed the laces staring him right in the face? 27 yarder is all on him.

Yes, I recall Walsh's other kicks were laces in also.
Was curious if the Seahawks gave up on spinning the ball.
