What haters? The only people that have a problem with Dirk are the same Frost shills that got him hired in the first place.

They were loving him when he was writing the same stuff about Riley and Bo.

What are haters going to say now?

I don't think people were saying Dirk was wrong. He points out obvious issues everybody already knows about and acts like it is some big revelation he uncovered. That's what annoys me about him, not that he's necessarily wrong.

Read the other thread about his piece this past week. Plenty of sunshine pumpers that were offended with his article.

Go watch Alabama's goal line offense...very similar...because the spread is a screen-run blocking offense. It works because olineman get down the field 3 yards to block the 2nd level...well inside the 5 this doesn't work. You really need strong TEs who can catch and block and make you multiple inside the 5. If you just line up with power sets then the defense brings in a heavy defensive package and your offense is doing something they aren't used to doing. Obviously the qbs runs work but they seem hesitant with AM...the thing I hate is the people criticizing know nothing about football other than when we score and don't because they can count as well as a 4 year old. Obviously coaching comes down to one thing...Jimmies and Joes...then scheme...if our players beat the guy across from them it will work, if they get beat nothing will work. Dirk has zero respect from the football community because he invests in the "social" aspect of the game more than the actually tactical aspect. You can't take someone serious who is a football reporter, who doesn't know anything about the game.
