I think we all knew after losing Hutmacher and Robinson to the NFL it was going to be a tough year with the defensive line, I just feel we didn't know how bad it would be. This position has to be priority one in repairing our defense in 2026 and if Rhule say's we have the money then prove it.

Who is the “proven winner” you speak of. I love how people ***** and complain about a coaching hire but just completely ignore that anyone that fits your “proven winner” mantra, isn’t coming to Nebraska. So please, provide a realistic name and not a generic platitude.

We won't win until we have more talent. The program had none up when Rhule arrived. We are slowly building a roster that has NFL calibre talent through recruiting but that process is slow. We have to just spend the NIL to make it happen in the near term.

We need more dudes, yes, but if we are going to rush 3, we've got to run man or match zone. Too many large holes in these pro zone concepts, not enough recovery speed.

Dan Mullen. With better timing, Kiffin or Deboer could have been possibilities. But instead of the administration having foresight and putting us in the running for these names, they instead compete against themselves and go and give out unearned extensions to .500 or worse coaches.
