Lose to Wisc.
Lose to MD.
Beat Rutgers.
Beat Illinois.
Lose to Ind.
Lose to Mich
Lose to Purdue.

Putting NU at 10-8 for conference play. I think one of the losses above could be a win, but looking at worst-case scenarios here....

We're going to run the table, so I didn't even read the OP.

I think 10-8 puts us barely on the right side of the bubble, particularly if we win our first game in the BTT, presumably on Thurs. But I would prefer not to be in that situation.

All is well in your world now that Lindsey is out with mono.
Where were you when we played Pitt? Certainly missed you on WR FB board.

Using RPI Wizard, those results would have us at RPI 45 heading into the BTT. That's still more likely in than out, but we'd need to avoid any bad losses in the conference tournament.

I think Northwestern would get in at 10-8 - especially with one win in the BTT.

Sorry to hear about losing Lindsey. I always root for NU (when they aren't playing the Boilers). Hopefully the 'Cats will have enough left to get to the NCAAs this year.

Huh? I just thought you think DocCat2 is DocCatsFan of football apology/Carmody loving fame.

I don't think they are the same person, but what do I know.

DocCat2 shows up whenever things are going well to cast as much gloom as possible. Been doing so for more than a dozen years.

Possibly 1, depending on the opponents. But I agree, 10-8 by itself won't get it done.

11-7 and I think we're in. We should beat Michigan at home. A win against one of the top-25 opponents would sure be nice.
I think that since it went to 64 teams 10-8 has gotten it done for all but about 2 teams. Might be on the bubble but likely right side of it even without BTT win. Especially if they consider the loss of Lindsey and Tap for any extended period. With an 11th win, either during the season or BTT think it is beyond bubble. With the scenario listed, we would still have the no bad losses (as Rutgers is likely to be the only team we still face that would be in the potential bad loss category(going for us and a solid record with teams between 50-100

Yep - think so as well.

Other conferences are expected to have smaller # of bids, so as long as there aren't too many freaky winners of conference tournaments, 10-8 might just do it, as the committee supposedly takes into account injuries if the player(s) is expected back for the Tourney.

Yes, I think it does. Bubble is weak.

When we be produced Amaro we will be in the dance because everybody knows we are in a salad team

Oops when we beat Purdue tomorrow we will be in the dance because everybody will know we have a solid team

I liked it better the first time.

(Earlier this week I was being shown how to send a message by voice and by accident the instructions themselves got picked up and sent to a dozen people in a jumble of words that came out just like your Amaro post. Odd thing was that one of the recipients messaged back, "I agree." By the same token I learned that the other 11 obviously don't read my messages.)
