I always grew a beard for turkey and deer hunting season at our family house up in Sullivan County up the street from Hoagland Branch. Hunting Bear Mtn and Middle Mtn for many many years. Always shaved it off after 10 -12 days up there before going home. Too itchy... drove me nuts.

Yes we are just up the street on Elk Creek Rd. Off of 87 past Hoagland Branch on the left past the corn fields on the right just up the road where it bends left there is a group of houses on the right. That is where we were located. I would fish Elk Creek all the way down to where Hoagland Branch entered it and go up Hoagland Branch or work my way down all the way almost to the Loyalsock. Maybe stop at High Knob Inn for lunch and a beer. Great turkey hunting up on Bear Mtn and Middle Mtn.
