If so, in what week do you foresee this happening and under what scenario?

Given our lofty expectations this year and our Top 3 Ranking to start the season, it got me thinking about the last time we were ranked #1 in the Polls. You have to go back to 1997 in order to find the last time PSU was ranked #1 in either poll.

IMO, we'll be kept out of the #1 spot until we beat OSU in Columbus, which I think we will do. I think OSU beats Texas at The Shoe in Week 1 and holds the top spot until we meet them in a #1 v #2 matchup in Week 10.

Not so sure about putting that one in win column yet. Getting the Buckeyes on the road late in the season definitely works in their favor. Obviously would rather have their young team early. But, no one ever said winning a title was supposed to be easy.

I voted yes. Texas beats OSU and Oklahoma beats TX while we stay undefeated until that time.

I don't have high expectations. I think we are going to be as sloppy and undisciplined as always in the big games. We can overcome the sloppiness and undiscipline in the lesser games but when it comes to the big time games, these little things make the difference. Oregon is going to be a tuff game against a well coached team. I give us a slight edge since they will be traveling across the country and using temp locker rooms due to the construction at the stadium. We may be going into Columbus with a loss. I hope I am wrong....

The question is. Can franklin and allar get over the mental game hump that has plagued both in big games. I hope they do and win it all!!
