that all you need is a "high powered offense" that can score thirty points plus is all you need to get to a bowl game or beat Sou Miss or UL.

For seven years we've seen a defense that cannot stop the run and pulls defensive backs up into the box for saves. Would anyone else, if possible, trade a few receivers for a couple of genuine four star defensive tackles?

Last night the announcers said that Sou Cal was just as good as Alabama in skill player recruiting but that for recruiting in the trenches there was no comparison. That's what I liked about Brook's recruiting. He made a real effort for offensive and defensive linemen.

It's too hard to score enough to make up for our front seven and in particular the down linemen.

This is college football, more specifically SEC football, and you win by doing 2 things...running the ball and stopping the run. Been that way for decades, won't change anytime soon. You're right, that starts up front and for all of the credit Stoops recruiting gets, hisOL/DL recruiting has been an abysmal failure.
