Very physical, solid defense, play tough, really struggle shooting
Missing two or three players, one of them being their top center I believe. We SHOULD have no problem in this game. Even UofL fans aren't optimistic.
They're gonna bomb away from 3.. About their only hope the rest of the season..
They have decent guard play. Hepburn leads them in points 14.1 and assists 4.8. Hadley another guard leads them in rebounds 8.0. Smith a 6'2 senior guard you cannot leave open from 3. He can go nuclear on you. Ask Indiana but the only players they have to shoot 3's above 30% is Hepburn at 32.6% and Smith at 37.1%. All the rest under 26.1% and they average 27% as a team.
Pryor, the kid that's out for the season was their only real inside presence and the only one that averaged in double figures.
The inside presence they have now. Scott averages 7 and 5.8. Waterman, the kid from BYU averages 6.2 and 4.1 rebounds and Rooths averages 4.1 and 3.3.
Louisville is 6-4 and currently ranked 59th in Kenpom and 79th in offense and 42nd in defense.

I’m likely going to miss the entire UK vs UofL game on Saturday. Will be driving across a couple of states to bring relatives in to visit my mother in the nursing home and then driving them back. Under the circumstances probably won’t listen the game on the radio. Regardless, I’m among those hoping for a legendary showdown (fought tooth and nail down to the final seconds) between the two programs that I can read about in the Sunday paper before hopping on the highway back home

Hepburn is very good. I really hope Butler is back for this game.

My scouting report is if they show up in Rupp Sat afternoon they getting their collective arses handed to them by UK.
Doesn't matter, we just need to hit shots, rebound, and get after the 50/50 balls, the rest will take care of itself. If we play our A game and UL plays their A game, UK wins by DD's. Their A v/s our C, it will be a close one.
50/50 balls were definitely an issue last night...seemed more like 80/20 them
That and Jaxson Robinson's terrible shot selection. Couple of guys didn't give max effort on defense, looking at you Robinson and Brea.
The only thing to know about them is they take a ton of threes........and they don't make them often LOL.
Assuming we beat them, there's a good chance we'll have more wins in the ACC than they'll have this year.

They play an ugly game of basketball, not unlike Clemson. They will try to run us off the 3 point line and play physical all over the court. We better be ready for a rock fight
They're very banged up, missing their energy guy for the season, but the Wisconsin kid (Hepburn) is legit and will probably go off in Rupp. UK should win by 10+ if they play well and hit wide open shots unlike the last few games.

If Butler plays, we bury shots and don’t give up easy buckets, we should win comfortably. If any of those things don’t happen it will be a game.
I do think it will take a better than normal effort from UL and a subpar effort from UK for the Cards to win.
