swing coach? I think he needs a fresh set of eyes to see what’s going on.

Funny that you bring this up.

I have a buddy who’s a huge golf fan, who said to me a year that he didn’t think Spieth would ever win another Major.

Well, I posted his comments here, and a few posters just went off on him. I tried to tell the ones that did that my friend knows as much about golf as anyone.

He's 25. No denying he has talent. Just has to work through his issues like his peers did when they hit slumps.

Not sure it’s going off when people think he will win another major. Because he will and it will be more than just one.

Cawood, he just might, but man does he hit some really wayward shots for a pro. If he’s not making a ton of putts, (Which he hasn’t been lately) he’s going to struggle to even contend in the Majors.

The Masters will allow him to spray shots and get away with it, but like I said, he’s not even putting that great right now. That could change quickly of course.

I like Jordan. He’s still very young.

Nah — I think he just needs to slow down and think more about his shot before swinging.
LOL.

What’s interesting is the amount of attention JB draws for his slow play when he’s in contention, but never a word about how slow Jordan is.

Most of the young guys have been awful for a minute. DJ before Bones told him to cut instead of draw. Day was a mess with the flatstick for a good bit. Rory has had bouts of spraying drives all over the course, struggled with putting, etc...

Maybe Speith needs a new coach and a reboot. But what he's going through seems to be more mental than anything else. I still wonder if he has trouble shaking his Masters meltdown.

It's probably a chick, though.

Jordan's problems is all mental which is the case with every other golfer on the planet. The question always becomes if the golfer has the mental fortitude to overcome whatever is messing with their mind. The best players in the world have the strongest minds on the course. You can have someone like Dustin who is a moron off-the-course but has an extremely high golf IQ along with incredible physical ability. However, even the best like a David Duvall fall into a slump they really never recover from. Jordan is a very slow and methodical player. Drives people crazy but his results speak for themselves. He may need a change in coaches but just maybe he is getting too much information and needs to just figure it out on his own.

I think he is less talented than most, but he is really good at playing golf. He will have a shot at Augusta and The Open every year, but I wouldn't expect him to do really well at the PGA or US Open that often.

Spieth sucks. He’s a millennial headcase just like most of these “up and comers” on tour from the USA. He’ll never recover from the meltdown at the masters and all the drama from the last Ryder cup.

Seems like changing swing coaches is almost never beneficial. Tiger and Norman never should have left Butch Harmon, that's for sure. If Spieth does, hope he goes with Harmon.

He has whatever great player goes through. Great success then a bit of slump, then they always want to get that extra 10 yards. He was a short hitter on tour. He was master of mind and short game. The drop he took at Open was one of smartest moves ever. Every great player of last 40 years have done this, Faldo re did his swing after winning British Open, Tiger did this all the time while killing people. Think his Ryder Cup experience by breaking up Reed and Him so he could play with his buddy Justin Thomas was bad. That whole Rickie, Justin, Jordan, Bubba crew rub me the wrong way anyway. Little phony and a lot phony. Honestly the Euro's are a lot easier to relate to and cheer for. These dudes are

Reed is a tough hombre, he had his problems from college days and the Spieth thing but he is a tough dude, Kopeka,

I'll trade Speith golf swings any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Golf is a mean, vindictive beyotch. That’s what it is. She entices you to go a few rounds then deserts you on the links hating life.
