But, tonight is a W and that is what matters. John Wall had to acrobatic layup to beat Princeton. That was Brandon's only made FG that game. He was even ON THE BENCH in the final minute that game. Other than the Boogie tip-in, I bet you have forgotten a lot of these.
Hell, if you go back to 1998, a craptastic Alabama team took Kentucky to overtime before Jeff Sheppard saved us. Do you remember that game? No? If you did, you're a liar. That game was in Freedom Hall. Oh, you forgot that Kentucky played SEC games in Freedom Hall occasionally? I bet you remember the Duke, Stanford, and Utah games. Teams do not tend to Heart Over Hype' concept than some other team.

I don't think anyone is freaking. We have at least 5 of these games every year in the SEC. It just is what it is. Luckily we won this one this year.

OT games build fortitude if you can find ways to win. We had three last season and won two of them. They help prepare you for other high pressure games.

There would be fans on here getting nervous if we were only up 20, that's just UK fans for ya. But I definitely agree with your point and I would hope others too (but you never know with BBN!).

Go read the game thread.

Some serious redass, handwringing and fair-weathering going on in that.

That's why I refuse to post during games.

I'm glad we got tested, at home, by a team we were favored to beat by 20+

It teaches the guys we can be beaten on any given night and nobody is gonna lay down just because it says Kentucky on the jersey,

IIRC, it was the last game we lost that year. Valentine's Day, I believe.

And I remember all the "Is this the worst 17-4 team ever" type drivel from some of our fans.
