The new rallying cry in State College. Just a few blades of grass
. Reminds me of Joe's famous "a few players here and there" 2004 dream team at 4-7...
But Joe was correct! The new rallying cry in State College. Just a few blades of grass. Reminds me of Joe's famous "a few players here and there" 2004 dream team at 4-7...

And they would have gotten crushed by the top 2 teamsDerrick Williams, Justin king, improved Michael Robinson .2005 11-1 big ten champs #3 final ranking (should have been 12-0)
Maybe, Joe would have had his team prepared and ready for either of them But the point being that team was special and goodAnd they would have gotten crushed by the top 2 teams
That Team would hung with either USC or Texas that year, not saying they would beat either but that team would hung with either of them. And they would have gotten crushed by the top 2 teams
I don’t understand the title of this thread
They struggled in the Orange Bowl against a very average team. Don't get me wrong...I would have loved a 4 team playoff then but they weren't special. Just good.Maybe, Joe would have had his team prepared and ready for either of them But the point being that team was special and good
I disagree...unfortunately the dumb format prevented us from finding outThat Team would hung with either USC or Texas that year, not saying they would beat either but that team would hung with either of them.
And they would have gotten crushed by the top 2 teams
The Oracle! And they would have gotten crushed by the top 2 teams
Were you in the stands when it was 95 degrees on the season opener when one of Joe’s teams lost to Cincinnati 14-3 before Cincy was any good?Maybe, Joe would have had his team prepared and ready for either of them But the point being that team was special and good
Speaking of reality…how is Drew in Rd 1 looking for you lol!Your bias doesn't alter reality
As I stated countless timesSpeaking of reality…how is Drew in Rd 1 looking for you lol!
the topic is the 2005 team the season opener was against USF and Cincy was the 2nd game of the season which they won (weather was 73 and fair that day) so where does a 14-3 loss come into play in this conversation? If you are talking `1983 (yes i was there) and that was a full 22 years before 2005 and historic weather says is was 77 degrees and fair that day too not 93.Were you in the stands when it was 95 degrees on the season opener when one of Joe’s teams lost to Cincinnati 14-3 before Cincy was any good?
