He just won a wrestling state title as a freshman and now has an Iowa football offer according to his Twitter account.

It may be tough sledding getting him to Iowa, because I heard the Carr family from ISU are cousins. I can’t confirm that, but it’s what I was told by someone at the State Tournament. But, if he goes the football route maybe that’s a non-issue.

Not a guess per say but I do know he has ties to the Cyclones. I just think it would be an uphill battle.

I believe you guys are thinking about the Ames freshman, Mickel who has the ties to isu with a cousin on the team. From what I've heard Ross is a Hawkeye fan
