Now that the schedule is out I thought I’d do previews of each team on the schedule. Drexel is up first.

125: Antonio Mininno (SO) - Mininno went 10-20 last season as a starter and did not qualify for Nationals.

133: Chandler Olson (JR) - This will be Olson’s 1st year as a starter. It might get kinda rough for him as he has gone 7-10 and 4-5 respectively over the past two seasons.

141: Julian Flores (RSJR) - Flores did not start last year and went 6-9. Flores did start as a freshman where he went 13-15 and did not qualify for Nationals.

149: Jared Donahue (JR) - The Dragons got an intriguing transfer by way of Division II team Wheeling Jesuit. Donahue went 28-6 last season and finished 8th at the Division II National Championship. It’ll be interesting to see how he does at Division 1.

157: Parker Kropman (SR) - Kropman went 10-10 at 149 and did not qualify for Nationals. He will be filling in for last season’s starter Evan Barczak who will redshirting this season.

165: Ebed Jarrell (RSSR) Jarrell went 22-6 on the year and made it to NCAAs for the first time in his career. However he went 0-2, losing to Te’shan Campbell (Ohio State) and Carson Brolsma (Minnesota).

174: Michael O’Malley (RSFR) - O’Malley went 23-6 while redshirting and did not have any major or notable wins.

184: Anthony Walters (SO) - Walters went 7-9 and did not qualify for Nationals.

197: Bryan McLaughlin (RSSO) - McLaughlin will making a two weight jump from 174. At that weight, McLaughlin went 11-12 and did not qualify for NCAAs.

HWT: Sean O’Malley (RSSO) - O’Malley went 14-8 while redshirting last year. O’Malley started a true freshman two years ago where he went 6-13 and did not qualify for Nationals.

Good warmup. I can see 133 (if Daton takes ORS), 165 with Wittlake, 184 for Montalvo, and HWT being some decent tests.

It looks like a tough year for Drexel fans.
