Jail time and permanent no fly list for this dude should apply.
So he was charged with three counts of battery on an airplane and he's probably going to be facing multiple civil suits (the AFA will clear the flight attendants quickly). He's looking at some hefty court costs, definite jail time, and very likely a long flying ban. This guy totally screwed himself.
Suspended the crew? They should get a bonus!!
WTF? Wow, he better be glad an Air Marshal was not on the plane or it could have been seriously worse for him than getting duct taped to a seat!
Does it scare anyone else that they had duct tape on the plane? I would like to have a few words with the maintenance crew.

I love that they taped his mouth up as well. And look at all the smartphone camera lights from the passengers recording him on the plane. Dumbace getting his 15 minutes.

Flew a couple of weeks ago, and saw two different patrons throwing a complete and utter fit at the airport (not on the plane, thankfully), just dropping GDs and F bombs at the top of their lungs, aimed mainly at the airport personnel. I know it has been a long 18 months, but bottom line, people need to chill the heck out in public places.
As this ***-hat will find out once the flight attendants take him to civil court for assault and emotional distress, $2 million ain't what it used to be...
To hell with the parachute, just throw him on out.

Well . . . in all honesty, one of the two outraged airport customers referenced above involved a gentleman trying to get on a flight from Dallas to Knoxville. Thanks for reminding me.
I assume the issue is that they taped his mouth shut. That could be a potential risk. I would have been for taping his mouth and nose shut.
I think he was lucky it wasn't possible that he could be duct taped to the wing.

They had an incident with a woman at D/FW airport last week, and they had to remove her from the plane. Among other things she called a flight attendant a *****. The gate agent explained to her that she could no longer fly AA and suggested she try Spirit. I thought that was hilarious.
Yeah. They only use their duct tape for wing repairs and leaking hydraulic lines or other serious repairs.
I work from home and travel about 30% of the time in my job, I HATE FLYING in this environment.

Well you know they have to have duct tape to hold things together like the wings and tail fin. Everybody knows that...duct tape is essential to aviation. LOL
