If we played well we would beat Duke and they don't even worry me too much as they play sooo small and just hoist 3's . Sulimon is by far there best player not named Okafor and he scares me but the rest . eh , whateves. DUke is average on D as well. UVA is scarier to me and Wisconsin is as well despite the fact they lost to Puke .
I wish I had a dollar for every foul Okafor gets away with. Pushes off almost every play. Or hooks.
Well he got it wrong about Virginia having better numbers on defense. They are 4th in def eff., and we are #1.
Yep. The chasm between what contact he gets away with and the contact his defender gets away with is bigger than the Grand Canyon
NC ST 9/13 from 3 with 11+ to go in the game...and only up 5. I'm not sure how I feel about that stat.
Duke would clearly struggle in a physical game like we experienced lately. And, btw, they sure seem to whine a lot.
Feel the way you felt when we played Ole Miss... just a team playing well over their heads against the big dog of their conference. Just remains to be seen if Duke can pull it out like we did.
I swear K never, ever talks to or yells at his guys or seems to agree with a foul called against his team. Every single foul whistled against Duke that is followed by a camera shot on K shows him staring down the ref that made the call. He's just not used to not getting his usual ref cooking (although the game is far from over - I'm sure it will shift amazingly in his team's favor soon).
I am just worried they won't keep shooting that well from 3 to win. I really would love to see Duke lose today.
If they keep playing defense the way they are, it doesn't matter. They're picking Duke apart right now.
Duke has fallen apart. It should be interesting to see if they can pull it together and rally back. Go Wolfpack!
