I’m assuming this is some kind of act. Temple’s offense looks like a high school team.
Just got back from the game. A few thoughts:
* Temple was not ready. It's hard to read too much into this game; they weren't ready.
* Duke's QB, Leonard, #13, is going to give us trouble on the ground. There's no avoiding this. It's how Fitz likes it - keep everything in front of you, let the other team make a mistake. Leonard is going to run.
* The Duke defense looked better than expected.
* I think we can run on this D. I thought the same thing last year and then we came out throwing, and throwing to the wrong color jersey. Glad Jeremiah Lewis is on our side this year. I expect this year to see a big dose of Porter and Hull, early. Have patience everybody.
* I think the Sky Team will do a lot better containing Duke's passing game.
* Hilinski could win this game himself with a great game. But ultimately, our linebacker play will decide this game.

This is the latest incarnation of that Troll who shows up every now and then, usually early in the football season. It's been a couple of years since we've last seen him, but he's back.
Really shouldn’t surprise anyone. For some reason Duke seems to always play their best ball in September. Riley Leonard definitely scares me.
All I know was that was a very good performance by Duke.

All I know is I watched every snap of that game and I don’t think the Cats can play with this Blue Devil team.

You mean he actually won even though he lost? How many times have we heard that from opposing teams after their loss? "It was the refs.", "we won the game except for that one play", "on any other day we would have beaten them",etc. It's and old, sad story.
